VPNJT / Subscription Setup Guide

Getting Started with the VPNJT Client

From your account to the server list and then to real-world access: skip any steps you’ve already completed. If this is your first time, follow the order below to keep plans, subscriptions, and clients straight.

Menus vary across platforms and clients. “Subscription,” “configuration,” and “profile” may refer to similar menus. This guide covers the steps and checks; use the labels shown in your dashboard and current client.

Create an account and open the dashboard

Start by opening the Get Started Free option below. You only need a username and password to create an account; no email address is required. Choose a username you’ll recognize and a password you don’t use on other sites. Submit the form as prompted. If the username is unavailable, try another one. Avoid creating accounts repeatedly in different browsers, or your orders and subscriptions could end up under separate accounts.

Save your username and password, then open the dashboard. Use it to check your plan, get your subscription, access client downloads, and submit support tickets. This guide explains the steps but doesn’t store account information. Once the overview appears, confirm the username you’re signed in with. If you already have an account, use the sign-in option in the navigation—there’s no need to create another account when changing devices.

You can take a moment to locate the overview, plans, and client downloads. Being able to sign in doesn’t mean you have an active subscription, and installing a client doesn’t mean a server has been imported. The next steps check each status in turn. VPNJT supports unlimited simultaneous devices. You can use the same account to get a subscription on other devices, but keep your login details secure and never share them publicly.

Choose a plan and review your order

On the plans page, first distinguish monthly plans from data packages. Monthly plans suit regular use. Current options are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the end of each calendar month. Consider how you use the service: text searches and AI chats use data differently from extended video streaming, so don’t choose based on the plan name alone.

If your usage varies, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire; they’re billed differently from monthly plans, which reset each month. Before placing your order, make sure the page shows the type you want, then check the price and included data. See the plan details for a full comparison.

Choose a plan, follow the dashboard prompts to place your order, and proceed to payment. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. Before paying, check that you’re using the right account and confirm the order amount. After payment, return to the dashboard and check your order and plan status. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but the dashboard hasn’t updated, refresh the status and check the existing order before trying again. If you’re unsure, submit a support ticket with your order details so the support team can verify it.

VPNJT offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. See the refund policy for how to request one. When upgrading a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the order details shown in your dashboard before proceeding rather than calculating the difference between plans and paying on your own. Make sure the plan is active before getting your subscription, so you don’t mistake an inactive account for a client issue.

Choose This Plan

Get your subscription link from the overview

Open your account overview and check your active plan and remaining data, then find the subscription section. The subscription link lets a client load server configurations; it isn’t a web address for a specific server or a client installer. Use the dashboard’s copy option to capture the full link. Selecting the text manually can leave off the end, and messaging apps may insert line breaks or other characters when you share it.

If the dashboard offers an import option for your client, you can use it directly. Your browser may ask whether to open an external app. Make sure it’s the client you installed before allowing it. If the app doesn’t open, don’t keep triggering the import. First confirm the client is installed, then use its Import from URL option. The setup is complete only when the client displays a server list and finishes updating it.

The example below shows what a link looks like. It is not a real VPNJT subscription link and cannot be used to connect. Copy your own link from the account overview instead; don’t paste the example into your client.

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

Your subscription link is an account credential. Don’t post it on public forums, include it in screenshots or shared documents, or let strangers inspect the full link. If you need help, describe the client, error message, and steps you took first. If you think the link has been exposed, check whether the dashboard offers a reset option. If you can’t find one, contact support through a ticket. Once you’ve saved your subscription, open the client download page and follow the import steps for your platform.

Get Subscription

Import the subscription for your platform

Open the client download page from the dashboard. Sign in to get your subscription; an active plan is required to access the actual client downloads. Choose the VPNJT client for your device’s operating system and read the dashboard’s installation and import instructions. Don’t apply Windows installation steps to macOS, or mistake the desktop system-proxy switch for the mobile network permission prompt. Linux users can find the relevant client instructions in the dashboard.

Get the Client

Windows: Add a desktop subscription

Install and launch the Windows desktop client provided in the dashboard. Find the Subscription or Configuration page, then choose Add, Import, or Import from URL. Paste the full subscription link you copied from the overview, give the configuration a recognizable name, then save and update it. The name is just a local label; changing it won’t affect your plan. Don’t enter your password in the name field.

After the update, select the configuration you just imported and check that the server list appears. The list may stay empty if you saved the link without updating the configuration. Import it first, then enable the system proxy or connection mode as instructed by the client. There’s no need to change routing rules or other advanced settings during initial setup. Stick with the recommended settings to make it easier to tell whether the connection is working.

macOS: Import the configuration and check permissions

Install and open the macOS desktop client provided in the dashboard, following its instructions. Add your link in configuration or subscription management, paste in your own subscription URL, save it, and update. If you use one-click import from the dashboard, make sure your browser is opening the client you’re using. When import finishes, return to the app and check the configuration name and server list; don’t rely on the browser’s confirmation alone.

When you connect, macOS may ask to allow network configuration or request local authorization. This is a device permission prompt, separate from your VPNJT account password. Follow the system instructions. Without permission, the client may show a server list but be unable to route network traffic. If a prompt is unclear, note the error message and check the help center. Don’t delete your account or place another order first.

Android: Add the link from the subscription menu

Install the Android mobile client provided in the dashboard. In the app, find Configuration, Subscription, or Add, then choose Import from URL. Paste and save your subscription, then update the server list. If the app can’t parse the content, go back to the dashboard and copy the link again. Check that you haven’t included any explanatory text. Don’t use the plans page URL or this guide’s URL as your subscription link.

Select a server and connect, then allow the VPN connection when prompted by Android. The connection icon in the status bar indicates that network configuration is enabled, but you still need to test the service you want to use. If the connection drops when the app runs in the background, check your device’s background activity settings for the app. Menu names vary by device, so follow your system’s instructions. Don’t disable all device security features at once.

iOS: Import the subscription and allow network configuration

Use the iOS-compatible mobile client described in the dashboard. Install it using the method shown there, then add your link in the app’s subscription or configuration page, or use the corresponding import option provided in the dashboard. If your browser asks to open an app, check its name before continuing. Return to the client, save and update the subscription, and confirm that selectable servers appear in the list.

The first time you connect, iOS may ask to add a VPN configuration. Grant permission as prompted. This authorizes the device’s network configuration; it doesn’t activate a plan or import a subscription. If the client says it’s connected but access hasn’t changed, first check that you selected the configuration you just imported, then follow the verification steps below. Don’t enable another proxy app at the same time, as the connection paths may conflict.

Once the import is complete, you don’t need a separate subscription for every server. Choose regions and servers within the current configuration. Updating the subscription refreshes the list; switching servers changes your current connection. These are separate actions.

Connect to a server and verify your connection

Choose the region you want to access from the server list, then connect. If this is your first time, test a commonly used region and make sure the client shows the server you selected—not a previously saved configuration. The connection toggle, system permissions, and loaded server list each show a different part of the setup. Test actual access to confirm the whole process is working.

Open a service you want to use, such as ChatGPT or a streaming platform you watch regularly. Don’t just check that the homepage loads—try a feature, too. For an AI tool, test a typical conversation; for video, play content you’re authorized to watch. A page loading doesn’t mean your account is eligible to use the service. The platform determines its regional requirements, account status, and content availability; a server connection doesn’t replace a platform subscription.

While testing, check whether the client’s traffic usage changes and make sure your browser or app hasn’t kept an old error page open. Reload the page or reopen the app if needed, then check access again. If only one app fails while other services work, first check that app’s proxy mode, account region, and platform messages. Don’t assume the entire subscription is unusable.

If nothing loads, disconnect first and check that your local network works on its own. Then reconnect and make sure the configuration updated successfully, the plan is active, and the right server is selected. Once those basics check out, test another server. Change only one thing at a time and note the result to help identify whether the issue is with your local network, subscription import, server selection, or the destination service.

If access still doesn’t work, use the Help Center to find troubleshooting steps by connection issue. When submitting a support ticket, include your device platform, the client’s error message, selected region, and the steps you’ve tried. Hide your subscription link, account details, and sensitive payment information in screenshots. There’s no need to reinstall or place another order. Keep the current setup in place so support can reproduce the issue.

Once you’ve verified the connection, everyday use is simple: open the client, choose a server, and connect. Update your subscription when your plan changes or the server list needs refreshing. For more on streaming region rules, native IP addresses, and server selection, see the Streaming Guide. This page focuses on getting started rather than covering those factors in depth. Follow the same steps to set up other devices. VPNJT supports unlimited simultaneous devices.
